Cesium is a distributor of mobile accessories, wireless products, and consumer electronics. Its house brand Blu Element grew quickly in response to B2B needs for cellular accessories at a low to mid-range price point. We were tasked to develop a new brand positioning, de-clutter the product offering, design a new visual identity and lower the costs of packaging production.
In response, we created a new brand positioning based on honesty, humor, quality and creativity. Blu Element’s new positioning is to shake up the tech accessory industry with witty humor all while providing quality accessories. Fun meets function. We designed clean and slick layouts punctuated by bold organic shaped patterns. We paired a sober grotesque font with a soft rounded approachable font to play on the idea of duality / opposites. We’re thrilled how the BE re-branding came out– creating a witty, yet serious contender in the mobile phone accessories industry.
